| The mirror was the first piece that Greg created for Burning Man, and 2002 marked the 3rd and final year we took it to the playa. It was made of alternating strips of mirror and glass, and made some great effects when two people stood on either side of it. It made a great conversation starter for outside our camp.
There was a lot of history in that mirror. Steve, the person who helped Greg make it passed away in 2001, and was part of the inspiration for our first art installation, the death bed, built and burned in 2001. We we're really bummed when the mirror broke; guess we'll have to make another one... |
